Provo-based MyFamily.com Inc. announced Wednesday that it has acquired substantially all of the assets of Heritage Makers LLC of Springville.
Financial terms of the agreement were not disclosed.
Founded in 2004, Heritage Makers is a direct selling organization with more than 1,200 "heritage consultants" who market custom published products through in-home presentations.
MyFamily has named Chris Lee general manager of a new subsidiary that will develop this direct selling business, also to be called Heritage Makers. Lee most recently served as director of business development for MyFamily.
According to Lee, the acquisition allows MyFamily to help its customer base take advantage of the popularity of digital photography and on-demand printing in preserving and sharing family stories and memories.
