If you go to watch the Blue Angels

BLUE ANGELS: The Blue Angels practice over Naval Air Station Pensacola during March through November. Public viewing is allowed from an area along the runway just behind the National Museum of Naval Aviation, 1750 Radford Blvd. in Pensacola, Fla.; or 850-452-3604. Free parking. Free admission to the practices and to the museum, which is open 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily.

PENSACOLA PRACTICE SCHEDULE: Practices start at 8:30 a.m. and last 30-45 minutes. They are scheduled for Sept. 6-7, 13-14, 20-21, 27-28; Oct. 4. For details, visit

TIPS: There are bleachers in the viewing area. Spectators also can bring lawn chairs. A tram ferries disabled visitors from the museum's parking lot to the viewing area.

NATIONAL SHOW SCHEDULE: The Blue Angels are scheduled to perform in Brunswick, Maine, Sept. 10-11; Oceana, Va., Sept. 17-18; Gainesville, Fla., Sept. 24-25; Millington, Tenn., Oct. 1-2; San Francisco, Oct. 8-9; Miramar, Calif., Oct. 15-16; Point Mugu, Calif., Oct. 22-23; Chattanooga, Tenn., Oct. 29-30; Jacksonville Beach, Fla., Nov. 5-6, and Pensacola, Nov. 11-12.
