A Murray man was charged in 3rd District Court with sexually assaulting a woman.
The 38-year-old woman was walking in Taylorsville last Saturday around 8 p.m. when she accepted a ride home and an offer to use the man's telephone at his house, according to court documents.
At the man's house, the two had a drink, after which, documents state, the woman "became disoriented and felt as if she had been given some type of drug or sedative." Documents also state that the woman passed out and woke with the man "on top of her."
The man was charged with aggravated sexual assault, rape and forcible sodomy, all first-degree felonies.
