'Picks' defeated by Wasatch

Almost every entrant in last week's Utah Valley Grid Picks contest incorrectly picked Wasatch to defeat Union. The Cougars' upset of the Wasps means the best score was nine correct of the 10 games in the contest.

The top seven prognosticators last week win Deseret Morning News Grid Picks T-shirts: Mont Wade, Heber City; Curtis Christiansen, Fruit Heights, Davis County; Jon Varney, Highland; Curtis Ware, Grantsville; Mike Skogerboe, Salt Lake City; Karl Rostron, Ephraim, Sanpete County; and Wade Gee, Nephi.

Enter this week's contest through noon Friday at deseretnews.com/gridpicks/utco. Contestants will guess the winners of Lone Peak at Pleasant Grove, Mountain View at American Fork, Timpanogos at Spanish Fork, Lehi at Provo, Payson at Orem, Timpview at Springville, Park City at Wasatch, North Summit at Juab, South Summit at Grand, and Juan Diego at North Sanpete. The T-Birds/Red Devils game is the tiebreaker game, where readers predict the final score.
