Looking for some Halloween and harvest fun? Listed below is a variety of events, from corn mazes to haunted houses, to make the fall season exciting.

Big Foot Corn Maze and attractions: Sept. 15-Nov. 1. Monday-Friday, 4-11 p.m.; Saturday, 2-11 p.m.; 362 N. 2000 North, Pleasant Grove. Attractions include large 6-acre corn maze, children's corn maze (includes lives animals (including a calf, chickens, sheep, peacocks and Canadian geese). Hee Haw Farms: Sept. 9-Oct. 29. Monday-Thursday, 4-10 p.m.; Friday, 4-11 p.m.; Saturday, 10 a.m. to 11 p.m. Closed Sundays. Attractions include corn maze, animal train ride, pedal car race, hayride, corn cannons, piglet races, trick or treating; hayride and Animal Alley. Halloween cruise: Oct. 7-31. Weekdays, 6:30-9:30 p.m.; Friday and Saturday, 6:30-10:30 p.m. Chartered cruises can be arranged. Adventure riverboat ride on the lower Provo River. Round trip is 25 minutes. Cost: $5 or $15 per family; meet at Class Ropes Course, 3606 W. Center, Provo. Call 373-8897.

3rd Annual Scarecrow Contest: Thanksgiving Point, Sept. 15-Oct. 29, Children's Discovery Garden. Entries must be received by Sept. 30. Winners determined by popular vote and will be announced Oct. 29. Call 768-2300

Fright Lights: Thanksgiving Point, Sept. 23-Oct. 31 from 6:30-10 p.m., Children's Discovery Garden. A new Halloween light display featuring dozens of Halloween figures. On Monday and Saturday at 6:30 p.m., enjoy Spooky Tales, music and concessions. Cost: $5 adult, $3 children, $20 per family. Call 768-2300.

Barnyard Boo: Thanksgiving Point, Oct. 3-29. Monday, 4-8 p.m.; Saturday, noon to 8 p.m.; Farm Country. Features crafts, hay ride, pony rides, pumpkin patch, fish pond and more. Cost is $5. Call 768-2300.

"Hotel Frankenstein"/Shadowbrook Mansion: Sept. 23-Nov. 7, Valley Center Theater, 780 N. 200 East, Lindon. A Halloween tradition in Utah County. Cost: $6 general admission; $5 child, student and senior; $25 family. Call 785-1186.

Pumpkinland at Vineyard Garden Center, Oct. 1-31, 435 S. Geneva Road, Orem. Open Monday through Saturday, 9:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. Features corn maze, pumpkin patch, play area, farm animals. Particularly for children. Cost: $2. Call 437-7632.

Haunted Canyon Limited: Oct. 7, 8, 14, 15, 21, 22, 28, 29 at 7, 8 and 9 p.m.; Oct. 20 and 27, 7 and 8 p.m. only. Climb aboard for a spooky 35-minute ride. Come in costume or as you are.
