I am writing in response to Eunice Pace's letter (Sept. 27) about the Pioneer Theatre Company production of "Metamorphoses." I mean no disrespect. I also found that scene about the young woman and her dad nasty. But Greek mythology has more than just that myth where similar events happen. One example is Oedipus Rex, a man who was raised away from his real parents, kills his biological father and marries his mother. By our standards that sort of behavior is sick and wrong. My point is only myths and stories were depicted on stage.
