Victor Lambert Eldredge 1916 ~ 2005 Victor Lambert Eldredge, 89 of West Valley City, Utah, passed from this life on September 4, 2005. He was born June 6, 1916 in Granger, Utah, the son of Frederick Elnathan and Julia Druce Lambert Eldredge. He was the third son and the 11th child of a family of 12 children. He attended schools in Granite School District and graduated from Granite High School. He married Ruby Elizabeth Coon on September 19, 1936 in Santa Cruz, California. They were later sealed in the Salt Lake Temple on September 2, 1954. He is survived by his wife Ruby, daughter Deon (Marvin) Mortensen, sons Frederick M. (Janis) Eldredge, and Douglas L. (Shauna) Eldredge, eight grandchildren, four great- grandchildren, his sister Martha (Denton) Moulton and many nieces and nephews. Vic spent most of his career at Winder Dairy. He maintained their fleet of trucks and the dairy processing plant and equipment. Dad had a natural talent for understanding machinery and he was proud of his ability to repair things. Dad was always interested in anything with a motor and horse power. He loved the outdoors, camping, boating, water skiing, fishing, hunting, and snowmobiling with his family. After retirement Dad and Mom traveled and enjoyed seeing new places. Dad had a good sense of humor and easily made friends. He will be greatly missed by all of us. The family would like to thank Dr Roy Gandolfi for the many years of care he provided, the staff at Legacy Assisted Living of Taylorsville, and Dr Tran from Rocky Mountain Convalescence. Graveside services will be held Saturday, September 10th at 11:00 a.m. at Valley View Memorial Park, 4100 S. 4400 W., West Valley City. Friends may call Friday, September 9th, 6-8 p.m. at Peel Funeral Home, 8525 W. 2700 S., Magna, and 9-10 a.m. Saturday at Jordan 6th Ward 3650 W. 4400 S., West Valley City.
