Lola Fisher Lloyd 1916 ~ 2005 Lola Fisher Lloyd passed away peacefully with family around her on September 3, 2005. Born December 19, 1916, in Salt Lake City, Utah, to Orrin and Isabel Fisher. She attended the University of Utah. She married Maurice Densley Lloyd in the Salt Lake Temple in October 1939. They were later divorced. She was a secretary for the RJ French Co. and later for the U of U College of Nursing. She was active in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter -day Saints and held many positions: Primary Teacher, Visiting Teacher, Secretary of Relief Society, Editor of the Ward Paper, Stake Singles Leader, and she did extraction work. She had a beautiful voice and sang in the ward choir. She also loved to dance. She taught us by word and actions the importance of being honest. She had a wonderful sense of humor and will be greatly missed by all her family. She is survived by two daughters, Sylvia Lloyd and Diana Levy (Arvel); five grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a sister Bula Dot Fisher Garrett and a brother Calvin Weaver Fisher. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, September 10, 2005, 12:00 noon, at the Stratford Ward, 2606 So. Fillmore (1500 E.), where family and friends may visit Friday, September 9th from 6 to 8 p.m., and one hour prior to services. Interment at Wasatch Lawn Memorial Park.
