Michael F. Huggins 1977 ~ 2005 May 20, 1977 was the wondrous day in Cleveland, Ohio that Michael F. Huggins emerged into the world. From early childhood he was fascinated by people, music, and animals. As he grew he developed an uncanny ability to communicate with cats and dogs. He also became adept at composing his own music, first on piano, then keyboard, and onto guitar. He attended school at St. Olaf's in Bountiful and Judge Memorial Catholic High School in Salt Lake City, where he graduated in 1995. From there it was onto his heart's desire for a medical career, with studies at Westminster, Salt Lake Community College and finally the U. He was several years into a career as a phlebotomist with ARUP where he excelled at his work and developed strong friendships with his co-workers. Michael was a loving son, always ready and anxious to love and please. He loved to debate any issue and often would talk late into the night with his mother Susan. Even when cancer struck he maintained a super positive attitude toward life and fought courageously until his final breath. Michael is survived by his maternal grandparents George and Ruth Pipes, paternal grandfather Robert, parents Robert and Susan, his life companion Teri Sanders and her parents Dave and Arlee, two uncles and one aunt. Funeral services will be held Saturday, September 10, 2005 at 2 p.m. at Lindquist's Kaysville Mortuary, 400 North Main. Friends and family may call Saturday from 12:45 to 1:45 p.m. at the mortuary.
