Salt Lake City Mayor Rocky Anderson sent a welcome package to victims of Hurricane Katrina Thursday.
Inside were a letter from the mayor, a fold-out map of Salt Lake City and a free ticket to Saturday's Blues and Brews concert at Gallivan Utah Center.
The Utah Transit Authority will be providing free transportation to the concert via TRAX and buses. UTA spokesman Justin Jones said the Gulf Coast evacuees living in Utah's Camp Williams are excited about the free blues concert. The University of Utah is also giving the evacuees free tickets to Saturday's football game against Utah State.
