Leola Arbuckle 1916 ~ 2006 Leola Laura Jensen Wyler Arbuckle, 89, passed away January 19, 2006 at a Murray hospital, following a brief battle with pneumonia. She was born October 27, 1916 in Mayfield, Utah the oldest child of Wilford Ole Jensen and Delilah Fair Voorhees. She married Glenn H. Wyler August 20, 1938 and they were sealed in the Salt Lake LDS Temple in 1943. They later divorced. She married Maurice M. Arbuckle November 24, 1973. He passed away Jan 22, 1991. She worked for the telephone company for about 20 years. She loved little children, and, as an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, spent many years working in the Jr. Sunday School program. She was an active member of the Murray Ladies Civic Guild. She loved flowers, and enjoyed watching basketball games, regardless of the team. She loved to travel, and had visited many parts of the world with her husband and friends. Preceded in death by her parents; her brother, Bobby Lynn; and husband, Maurice. Survived by her sister, Ardell (the late McQuade) Kearns; son, Douglas L. (Kaye) Wyler; daughter, Rhonda (Daniel) Snarr; stepsons, Jim (Julie) Arbuckle, Kent (Maurine) Arbuckle, and Lynn (Cheryl) Arbuckle; and stepdaughter, Ann (Greg) Burton; as well as 33 grandchildren; and 79 great-grandchildren. A funeral service will be held Tuesday, January 24, 2006, 11 a.m. at the Murray 25th Ward chapel, 363 E. Vine St. Friends and family may visit from 6-8 p.m. Monday evening at Jenkins-Soffe Mortuary, 4760 S. State Street, in Murray, and at the chapel 10-10:45 a.m. prior to the funeral service.
