Keith Leon Kidd 08/17/24 ~ 01/20/06 "An Irish Blessing" May the road rise to meet you Keith. May the wind be always at your back. May you know that you were loved. Our husband, father, grandfather, our champion, passed peacefully after a final heroic battle January 20, 2006. Keith began life's journey as he ended it, with honor and integrity against great adversity. Keith was born August 17, 1924 in Herriman, Utah. He served his country as an Aviation Machinist Mate First Class V-3 USNR for the Navy in World War II. He assured freedom for those who often take such freedom for granted. Keith found his angel and life's mate in Beth B. Barkdull, of Montpelier, Idaho. They married September 04, 1946 in Salt Lake City, Utah. They were sealed for time and all eternity in the Logan Temple July 18, 1955. They built a 59 year partnership of love that never halted, never lost depth, and can never be duplicated. Keith is survived by his wife of 59 years, Beth B. Barkdull; his children, Kyle Kidd (Jackie), Rorie Jenson (Duane), Corenne Wooldridge (Gene), and Jody Kidd; his brothers, Edward Kidd and Gary Kidd; his sisters, Norma Hodges, Earlene (Leo) Parry, Marva (Harold) Jensen, and Kay Ubert. He was preceded in death by his brother, Alva (Dorothy) Kidd; and his sister, Joy (Gary) Higham. He has 12 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren. Keith's children and grandchildren have felt a great honor to have shared in his life, to have been blessed by his love, and learned from his strength. Friends may call Tuesday evening January 24, 2006 from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at the Russon Brothers Bountiful Mortuary, 295 North Main. A family graveside service will be January 25, 2006 at Bountiful City Cemetery. A special thanks to all of the staff at Harmony Hospice especially Natalie and Nancy. We cannot thank them enough for the special care they gave to Keith and Beth and all our family. Online guestbook and map at www.russonmortuary.com
