A 26-year-old Salt Lake man faces time in federal prison after admitting to arranging sex with who he believed to be a 13-year-old girl over the Internet.

Scott James Swift pleaded guilty in U.S. District Court Wednesday to one count of using the Internet to entice a minor to have sex.

Swift admitted he contacted the "teenager" — who turned out to be an undercover agent — over the Internet to arrange a sexual encounter last August.

According to a state law enforcement agent, Swift had admitted to having actual sexual contact with at least seven juveniles over the past two years.
