Adele Brown 1946 ~ 2006 Adele Brown passed away peacefully on January 26, 2006, after a courageous and long struggle with mental illness. She was born in Watsonville, California on March 1, 1946 to Folkman D. and Ivy Manning Brown. She had a happy childhood in California and at 17 moved to Utah where she graduated from East High. After graduating from the University of Utah, she taught school for two years. She was always active in the LDS Church, student government, excelled academically and musically. She is survived by her mother, two sisters, Kristine (Carlsbad, CA), Lora Lee Heaton (Guadalajara, Mexico). She is also survived by devoted nieces and nephews, Camille, Gary Lee, Richard and Elena, Bradford and Victoria, Rebeka, and Suzanne. The family wishes to express sincere appreciation to the staff of Valley Woods, Alliance house, and SL Valley Mental Health. Memorial services will be held on Monday, January 30, 2006, 1 p.m. at the Meyers Mortuary, 845 Washington Blvd, Ogden, Utah. Friends and family may call one hour prior to services.
