Obituary: Alice S. Weber

Alice S. Weber 1908 - 2006 Alice Sell was born of goodly parents at Independence, Kansas, October 17, 1908. She died at West Valley City, Utah, January 27, 2006. She was descended from early colonial stock. Four of her ancestors served in the Revolutionary War. She was a hard work-working, virtuous person. Alice graduated from Kansas State Teacher's College in 1932. She later did graduate work at Lewiston Normal in Idaho. She taught school in Kansas for seven years and in Aruba two years. She married Dr. John P. Weber of Grangeville, Idaho, in 1942. While living in Boise in 1943, they became members of the LDS Church. Their marriage was later solemnized Salt Lake Temple. Alice taught in the public schools of Idaho for 23 years and was principal of the Junior High School at Grangeville for the 1941 - 42 school year. Alice was preceded in death by her husband in 1976. She is survived by two sons, John Payson, (Elk Ridge, Utah) and Tom (Kearns, Utah); 15 grandchildren and 10 great-grand- children. A daughter Elsie, born in 1944, died in infancy. Alice will be buried at the Morris Hill Cemetery in Boise between her husband and daughter.
