Jody Lynn Heileson I've got my runnin' shoes back on! Jody Lynn Heileson, 47, passed away November 23, 2006 in Salt Lake City, of Lou Gehrig's disease. Born August 15, 1959 in Santa Monica, CA, the daughter of Gene and Peggy Heileson, she was a beam of light and love to her friends and family. Jody is preceded in death by her father Gene, and sister, Debbie. Survived by her partner, Jessica Conaty, mother, Peggy, sisters, Michelle and Cindy, brother, Mark, and natural father, Joseph E. Hause and his wife, Lisa. Jody graduated from Ricks College in 1980 and served an LDS mission in Chicago, IL from 1980-82. In 1999 she graduated from the University of Phoenix with a Master's Degree in Organizational Management. Jody worked for the Boeing Company for seven years as a mechanic, quality inspector and production planner. Jody loved black and white photography, movies, orchids and a variety of sports. Most of all, she loved the time she shared with family and friends. "As I continue my journey on to other places, may everyone who knew me remember that life is a beautiful opportunity, and may you enjoy it with each other as I have with each of you. God bless us all." Special thanks goes to all those who helped in times of need: Jessica, who stood by me from the day I was diagnosed (Sept. 1999), the support group of many friends who helped me to continue to live happily, Dr. Bromberg and his staff, and CNS Hospice. Memorial services will be held Thursday, November 30th, 7:00 p.m. at St. Stephens Episcopal Church, 4615 S. 3200 W. West Valley City. A gathering for sharing of memories will follow the services. In lieu of flowers please donate to your favorite charity.
