Obituary: George Arthur Moore

George Arthur Moore 1928 ~ 2006 Art, 78, passed away at home December 18, 2006. He was born February 11, 1928 in Hamilton, Ohio. He was a World War II veteran and retired from the US Air Force. Member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Married Lois Wolf Moore September 20, 1955; sealed in the Mesa, Arizona Temple. He loved family, God, country and red Mustangs. Survived by his wife, Lois; seven children: Tari Huffaker, Allison Parkinson, Jeffrey Moore, Leslie Boren, Lance Moore, Jaimi Slade and Lindsay Knight and their spouses; 16 grandchildren; four great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by his father, George N. Moore; mother, Mildred Warman; stepfather, Lou Warman; brothers: Jerry and Herb Warman. Funeral services will be held Thursday, 12:00 noon at the Bennion Heights 1st Ward, 6030 S. Prairie View Drive (3500 West). A viewing will be held Wednesday, 6-8 p.m. at McDougal Funeral Home, 4330 South Redwood Road and Thursday at the church, 11-11:45 a.m. Interment, Larkin Sunset Gardens.
