Building dedications were a big part of President David O. McKay's trip to Arizona the last week of December 1956, according to the Jan. 5, 1957, Church News.

The article stated that the morning of Dec. 30, President McKay "visited the Arizona Temple at Mesa to dedicate the new additions to that edifice."

Then at 2 p.m. that day, he "went to the new Bureau of Information, immediately north of the Arizona Temple" and dedicated it.
