SHARE Films to highlight civil rights slayings

Documentaries focused on civil rights murders will be featured at a Black History Film Series, presented this month by the Sojourner Truth Outreach Collective.

On Friday, Feb. 17, "Make It Plain," a documentary about the life of Malcolm X, will be shown to mark the 41st anniversary of his assassination.

"The Murder of Emmitt Till" will be shown Friday, Feb. 24. The film chronicles the death Emmitt Till and his mother's role in the civil rights movement.

All films are free and open to the public. They will be shown at the University of Utah in Room 175, Orson Spencer Hall, 260 S. Central Campus Drive.
