Ernest Arzell Case 1921 ~ 2006 MAGNA - Our beloved husband, father, grandfather, and great- grandfather Ernest Arzell Case passed away February 12, 2006. He will be truly missed. Ernest was born June 23, 1921 in Brooklyn, Utah to James Marion and Maggie Uckerman Case. He served his country during World War II, in the Philippines and Japan as a Sergeant in the Army Air Corp. After the war he met his sweetheart Frances Helen Peterson and they were married May 16, 1949 in the Manti Temple. Dad enjoyed working with wood and retired from the Granite School District as a lead man carpenter. He continued making cabinets and remodeling homes well after retiring. He was a member of the LDS church and served many responsible positions with all his heart, including numerous Bishoprics, High Priest Group Leader, and Regional Missionary. Ernest is survived by his wife, children, James (Joyce) Case, Susan (Glenn) Roberts, Jeff (Kristine) Case, Ted (Stacey) Case, Jeanette (Brent) Fryer, 15 grandchildren, six great- grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, sisters, Adelle Barlow, Virginia Paxton, Ruby Thurber, Mavis Root, brother, Marcelle, one grandson, one great-granddaughter. Funeral services will be held 12 noon, Friday, February 17, 2006 at the Pleasant Green 1st Ward, 8739 W. 3000 So., Magna. Friends may call 6-8 p.m., Thursday, February 16, 2006 at the church and 11-11:45 a.m., Friday, prior to services. Interment: Valley Memorial Park.
