Monday, Feb. 27, 7 p.m. — "Spinning Through History." For families. Spend a heartwarming evening with Judy Gunn of Gunn Wools. Judy spins stories as she spins yarn. Telling the history of spinning through stories and songs, she demonstrates carding, combing and spinning with a drop spindle and wheel. Judy may have a newborn lamb to bring with her.

Thursday, Feb. 21, 7 p.m. — "Jugglenutz," for families. They're wild, they're wacky, they're a local phenomenon. Audiences are wild about Brent and Mark — computer nerds by day, Jugglenutz by night. This comedy/juggling routine has been featured on all the local television stations, at state and county fairs, professional and collegiate sporting events, schools, libraries, corporate events and everywhere else! Recently, Ringling Brothers asked them to run away and join the circus, but they thought their wives and children might object.
Kearns Library, 5350 S. 4220 West:
Thursday, Feb. 23, 7 p.m. — "Tropical Island Adventures," for families. Get ready for a midwinter tropical island retreat as Princess Kanalooney shares the secret to becoming an island "prince" or "princess." Kids will learn an authentic hula, a rousing Maori chant, a lumi (rhythm) stick routine and an island song. They'll participate in limbo and surfer contests and have fun participating in this energetic program.
