One man was stabbed and another hit in the head with a rock when a fight at a Salt Lake City apartment spilled out onto the street early Saturday.
Police were called to the City Front Apartments, 641 W. North Temple, around 4:22 a.m. to break up a fight involving about 2 dozen people.
Salt Lake Police Lt. C.T. Smith said when police arrived most of the people involved fled the scene.
One 19-year-old man was taken to the hospital with minor head wounds from being assaulted with a rock. An 18-year-old man remained at University of Utah Hospital Saturday night. He was stabbed in the shoulder and sustained other knife lacerations.
Smith said one man was booked into the Salt Lake County Jail on suspicion of aggravated assault.
