Nancy Ann Smith Meservy 1940 ~ 2006 CENTERVILLE- Nancy returned home Monday, January 30, 2006 to our Heavenly Father after gracefully enduring multiple complications of Diabetes. Nancy was born in Salt Lake City, Utah on August 10, 1940, but lived her youthful years in West Bountiful, Utah. She married Jerry D. Meservy on May 10, 1963 in the Logan Temple. For the last 34 years they enjoyed the peaceful surroundings and special friends they found in Centerville. She was admired by all who knew her and praised for her kind, patient, loving example. She served in multiple positions of leadership in her church and community. She loved working with and touching the lives of young people through these callings and as Attendance Secretary at Bountiful High School. However, her greatest joys were realized in raising her three children, in the gospel, with her husband and spending time with her grandchildren. She has taught us what it means to endure valiantly. She will be greatly missed. She is survived by her husband, Jerry; her children Jeffrey (Lorinda) Meservy, Julie (Douglas) Mills, Shelly (Vernon) Christenson; her father Ernest Smith, brother Paul Smith, sister Leslie (Richard) Lawrence and 14 grand-children. She is preceded in death by her mother, Marjorie Smith and her granddaughter Kalissa Meservy. A special thanks to family, friends, the many doctors and her dialysis friends and staff. Friends and family are invited to attend the funeral service, Saturday, February 4, 2006 at 1:00 p.m. at the Centerville South Stake Center, 270 N. 300 E., Centerville.
