Clarence Loraine (C.L.) Jones 1937 ~ 2006 Our beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle and friend, Clarence Loraine (C.L.) Jones passed away peacefully on Sunday, February 19, 2006, at home, surrounded by his loving family. C.L. was born November 3, 1937 in Springville, Utah to John Thomas and Edna A. Jones. He married his sweetheart, Brenda Joyce Ashinhurst, in Salt Lake City in 1987. After graduating from Spanish Fork High School, C.L. served in the U.S. Navy. He spent his working years as owner, with his son Stuart, of Redwood Auto Supply. C.L. is survived by his wife Brenda; children Keri (Eddie) Scott, Lori (Wayne) Watkins, Tom (Tracy) Jones, Stuart (Debbie) Jones, Bill Lambert, Travis Lambert and Crystal Jones; grandchildren Brandy and Travis Watkins, Chalaunda and Courtney Scott, Jason, Joshua, Evan, Braden and Savannah Jones and Haylee Lambert VanKomen; great-grandchildren Mariah, Aaron and Baylee Watkins. He is also survived by his brothers Marion (Mae) Jones, Ted (Donna) Jones, Creed (Joyce) Jones and Dewey Jones; sisters Faye (Dick) Williams and Sherry (Dick) Strange. He is preceded in death by his parents and brother Jack Jones. Memorial services will be held at 5:00 p.m. on Saturday, February 25, 2006 at the LDS Church, 4145 South 3920 West in West Valley City. Family and friends will be received one hour prior to services at the church. C.L., you always believed that we were your Heroes. However, in all of our hearts, you were the true Hero. We will always love you and will miss you, your family and friends.
