Kim Jodette Tanner-Scopac "Kimbo" In loving memory of our wife, mother, and grandmother, Kim ("Kimbo") Jodette Tanner-Scopac. On Feb 20, 2006 Kim was killed instantly in a car accident in Sandy, Ut. Born in Rockford, Illinois to Donald and Beulah Sandell on October 13 1955. Kim came to earth with a determined will. She was a talented RN, having a bachelor degree from BYU and spent 22 years working with various hospitals. She spent the last six years working in assisted living care for which she showed a passion and gift which will truly be missed. Whether flirting with the senior men or setting up a Red Hat Society for the women at Atria, she cared deeply about each of her charges. Always full of spontaneity and a lively story, no room was dull with her in it. She will be remembered for her generosity, sense of humor and contagious laughter. There has never been a prouder mother and grandmother and her children will miss her smiles, phone calls, cards and dinners. She loved to spoil us. Kim had exquisite taste, poise and a beauty rare for any age, especially 50. She is survived by her husband James Scopac who will miss her deeply as his "Laughing Buddy" and Love also by her children Cory Tanner (27), Kristen (25)and her husband Glenn Harmon, Trevor Tanner (14) and her grandson Maxwell Harmon (7 months). Services will be held on Sat. Feb 25 at 1 pm at Larkin Sunset Gardens 1950 E 10600 S Sandy, where visitation will be held Friday 6-8 pm and Sat 11 am to 1 pm.
