The Bosch Group and Mann+Hummel plan to acquire the Purolator filter business from ArvinMeritor before April 1, including the Purolator distribution center in Salt Lake City.

Financial terms were not disclosed.

The 110,000-square-foot Salt Lake facility employs about 10 people.

The business will continue as a 50-50 joint venture company. The acquisition covers all Purolator oil, air, fuel and cabin filters. Purolator had sales of $367 million in 2005.
