San Diego-based Iomega Corp., a data storage products company with about 250 employees in Utah, on Friday announced that Jonathan S. Huberman has been appointed as chief executive officer and vice chairman of Iomega's board of directors.
Stephen N. David, who had been serving as the interim CEO, will continue to serve as board chairman.
Huberman previously was a managing director at hedge fund aAd Capital. Prior to that, he was a general partner with Idanta Partners, a case leader with the Boston Consulting Group, a marketing manager at Cray Research Inc. and special adviser to the director of the Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency.
Huberman replaces Werner T. Heid, who resigned earlier this month as president and chief executive officer and as a member of the company's board of directors.
