Wanda Ange King Colovich "An angel among us" TOOELE, UTAH - Wanda Ange King Colovich, 86, beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, aunt, and best friend, returned to her Father in Heaven February 24, 2006. She was born May 16, 1919 in Salt Lake City, Utah to Edward and Tomina Matilda Holm King. She had two brothers, Clifford (Hazel) and Leonal (Inez), and one very sweet sister that she was especially close to, Emma (Robert) Bradford. Wanda grew up in Spanish Fork, Utah. She married her sweetheart Theodore (Ted) Colovich November 26, 1938. Their marriage was later sealed for time and all eternity in the Manti LDS Temple June 6, 1964. Wanda was a woman of pure integrity and she was not afraid of hard work. She worked many years for the Tintic School District and First Security Bank in Eureka. Once she retired from the school district she worked in the fruit orchards in Santaquin. Wanda was known for her cooking and baking. She shared her wonderfully prepared food and cooking talents with everyone. Nobody ever left her house hungry. She also had many hobbies, which include crocheting, needlepoint, growing her many plants, and sitting on her front porch, enjoying a Diet Coke while watching her nine o'clock bloomers come to life with her family or friends in Eureka. Wanda loved to dance, and listen to country music and barbershop quartets. She had a beautiful singing voice and sang in many duets and quartets. She always kept an immaculate house, which was filled with treasures and keepsakes that she received from family and friends. She was always happiest when surrounded by her family that she loved so dearly; and always set a Christ-like example of service to everyone. Wanda was a faithful member of the LDS church and served in many different callings, one of her favorites was directing the music in Sacrament meeting. She had a very strong testimony of the gospel of Jesus Christ, which she shared often with her family. She is survived by her three sons, Kay (Carolee) of Tooele; Barry (Dana) of Vernal; and Craig (Sheralene) of Tooele; 21 grandchildren and 36 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband; parents; brothers; and sister; and her only daughter, Sherie. Friends and family may call at Tate Mortuary in Tooele Monday, February 27, 2006 from 6-8 p.m. Funeral services will be held at the Eureka LDS chapel Tuesday, February 28, 2006 at 12 noon. A viewing will also be held 90 minutes prior to the service. Interment, Spanish Fork City Memorial Cemetery. Mom - We love and appreciate you with all our hearts. Tell Dad and Sherie hi!
