The contests for the 5A and 4A boys tournaments are now open; enter online via deseretnews.com/preps. The 1A boys contest will begin later this weekend.
1A GIRLS: For the second year in a row, the best prognosticator was Curtis Barney of Panguitch. He correctly picked the winners of all 15 games and missed the actual score of the championship game by 11 points. He wins $50 and a Deseret Morning News Hoop Picks T-shirt.
Six runners-up among the 233 entrants each receive a T-shirt: Troy Norris; Panguitch; Randy Blackburn, Loa, Wayne County; Jeane Knudsvig, South Jordan; Daniel Roundy; Glendale, Kane County; Christy Barney, Escalante, Garfield County; and Jonathan Marshall, Beaver.
