Feb. 25 — Utah State University Concert Chorale. Directed by John Cooksey, the chorale will perform a varied program, including works by Handel, Mozart, Ralph Vaughn Williams, Massenet, Gershwin, and Mack Wilberg in the Assembly Hall at 7:30 p.m. Free admission (801-240-3323).

March 2 — The Mormon Tabernacle Choir, Orchestra at Temple Square, Bells on Temple Square and the Wasatch & District Pipe Band (a bagpipe and drum corps) will present a public concert in conjunction with the American Choral Directors Association Region IX convention in the Conference Center auditorium at 7:30 p.m. This concert is open to the public. Free tickets are required for the concert and are available at the Conference Center ticket office (inside door 4) from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. weekdays and on the Internet (www.lds.org/events). Seating is limited to persons 8 years and older.

March 5 — A CES Fireside for Young Adults will be transmitted over the Church satellite system with subsequent rebroadcasts to many areas of the world. The speaker will be Elder Merrill J. Bateman of the Presidency of the Seventy. The broadcast will originate from the Marriott Center on the Brigham Young University campus. CES firesides are for young adults ages 18 through 30, both married and single.

Ongoing — "Joseph Smith The Prophet of the Restoration," a film showing events in the life of Joseph Smith from his early youth in Vermont to his martyrdom in Illinois at age 38, will be shown in the Legacy Theater at the Joseph Smith Memorial Building.
