Betty E. Forsyth Wardle 1920 ~ 2006 Betty E. Forsyth Wardle, age 85, passed away February 26, 2006 in Salt Lake City, Utah. She was born April 26, 1920 in Kearns, Utah to LeLand Roy Forsyth and F. Surena Woodbury. She attended West High School and Stevens Heneger College. Betty married James D. Wardle on April 1, 1945, in Salt Lake City, Utah. Betty was a member of the Community of Christ Church. Betty was devoted to her family and has a strong set of values. She loved doing all kinds of needlework and crafts. We will all miss her. Betty is survived by her daughter: Afton A. Sorensen, daughter-in-law Karen Wardle, grandchildren: Lee Sorensen, Strider Wardle and Heather Wardle, and one great- grandson Troy Sorensen. She is preceded in death by her husband, son, Allan J. Wardle; grandson, Vern G. Sorensen and sister, Afton M. Gerotepas. Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday, March 1, 2006 at 12:00 noon at the Valley View Funeral Home Chapel, 4335 West 4100 South, where friends may call one hour prior to the services. Interment will be at Valley View Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Diabetes Association.
