OGDEN — Weber State University will host a women's conference, Aspire Higher in the Game of Life, Saturday, March 11, from 8 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. in the Shepherd Union Ballroom.
The conference, designed for women of all ages, will feature a series of presentations, workshops and discussions covering a wide range of women's issues.
Author, poet and playwright Carol Lynn Pearson will be keynote speaker. She will also perform her one-woman play, "Mother Wove the Morning," at 7:30 p.m., March 11, in the Shepherd Union Wildcat Theater.
Cost of the conference is $10. The evening performance by Pearson is open to the public for $10 per person.
