Margrie Gaufin Eaby 1922 ~ 2006 Margrie Gaufin Eaby, age 83, passed away peacefully February 2, 2006. She was born June 22, 1922 in Kaysville, Utah to Rupert and Teresa Stuart Gaufin. She graduated from Davis High and LDS Business College. She married Leslie George Eaby. She loved her family, bowling and golf. Margrie was a pioneer for women in the banking industry. She was a savings and loan manager and president of the American Savings & Loan Institute. She forged the way for women in today's banking environment. Margrie always had a beautiful flower and vegetable garden that was admired by all of the neighbors. Survived by her daughter Judy Baker, her son-in-law Tom whom she loved as a son; five granddaughters, Sheila, Cindy, Heather, Kelly and Kimberly and eight great-grand-children. Preceded in death by her son Jerry and husband Les. Funeral services will be held on Monday, February 6, 2005 at 1:00 p.m. at Wasatch Lawn Mortuary, 3401 Highland Drive. The family will receive friends from 5-7 on Sunday evening and on Monday from 12-1 prior to the service. Interment will follow at Wasatch Lawn Memorial Park.
