Marjorie Berrett Brimhall 1918 ~ 2006 Our cherished mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, aunt and friend, Marjorie Berrett Brimhall, age 88, passed away Sunday, February 5, 2006 in Salt Lake City, Utah. Marjorie was born on January 18, 1918 in North Ogden, Utah to Edmund Richard and Hannah Chasey Chugg Berrett. She married Reed Edwin Brimhall December 27, 1947. They were sealed December 27, 1952 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. Together they brought into this world three children. She was an elegant lady, who through her example, encouraged all around her to always look and be their best. It has always been said that the clothes make the woman, but with mother it was the woman that made the clothes. Marjorie especially enjoyed her time spent with her many close friends going shopping and to lunch. Many lives were touched by the beautiful cards they received from mother, that she had chosen so carefully for each person. Marjorie was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She served in the Mutual and Primary organizations, and had an extended calling as ward librarian. She served faithfully, along with her husband Reed for many years as temple workers in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. Marjorie's life was her children and grandchildren. She loved them beyond expression. She liked the thought, "A mother holds her children's hands for awhile....their hearts forever". Mother always expressed and taught her family to love the Lord, and be grateful for the many blessings that we receive. Survivors include, her two daughters, Mrs. Tim (Marsha) Walker, Mrs. John (Shelley) Stewart and one son, David (Rebecca) Brimhall. She also has 15 grandchildren and 19 great-grand-children. Preceded in death by parents, husband, four brothers, four sisters and numerous friends. Funeral services will be held Thursday, February 9, 2006 at 10:00 a.m. at the Holladay 8th Ward, 5450 So. Holladay Blvd. A visitation will be held Wednesday evening from 6-8 p.m. at Larkin Mortuary, 260 East South Temple, and at the ward Thursday from 9:00 - 9:30 a.m. prior to services. Interment, Holladay Memorial Park, 4900 Memory Lane (1990 East), Holladay, Utah.
