LUBBOCK, Texas — P.J. Tucker scored 18 points and grabbed a career-high 17 rebounds to lead No. 6 Texas to a 65-44 victory over Texas Tech on Monday night, giving the Longhorns a school-record seven straight 20-win seasons.

It was Tucker's ninth double-double of the season, and his rebound total was just five shy of the Red Raiders' total.

LaMarcus Aldridge, who struggled the last two games with foul trouble, had 17 points and 11 rebounds — his 11th double-double of the season — while Kenton Paulino added 10 points for the Longhorns.

Texas (20-3, 8-1 Big 12) beat the Red Raiders 80-46 last month. This was only the second home loss for Texas Tech (12-11, 4-5) this season. They lost to Louisiana Tech 68-53 in early December.

The Longhorns were in control from the start, building a 32-21 halftime lead.

Tucker was 6-of-13 from the field and 6-of-7 from the free throw line.

Bob Knight fell to 2-9 against Texas in his five seasons as coach of the Red Raiders.
