Rep. Jackie Biskupski, D-Salt Lake, speaks Tuesday to members and supporters of the Gay, Lesbian, Bisexual, Transgender Community Center of Utah during a political rally outside the state Capitol. The rally included representatives of Equality Utah, the Stonewall Democrats and the Utah Log Cabin Republicans. Biskupski urged support of gay issues and for hate-crimes legislation and parental rights. The rally was part of a weeklong Winterfest celebration featuring entertainment, social activities and a gay conference.
