Obituary: Cheryl Ann Moore

Cheryl Ann Moore 1962 ~ 2006 Cheryl Ann Moore, 44, died Thursday, April 6, 2006 of complications due to diabetes and heart disease. Cheryl was born February 12, 1962 at Bourne, Massachusetts, a daughter of Edward A. Shepard Sr. and Waltraut E. Stratton. She married Paul J. Moore in Battle Creek, MI, and from this union Aaron Jeffrey and Samantha Ann were born. They later divorced and Cheryl moved to Utah. While here she met her common-law husband, Joseph Valdez. Cheryl was a member of the LDS Church. Cheryl loved the outdoors. She especially loved to camp, fish, and dutch oven cooking. She liked finding bargains and loved to crochet afghans. In February she had the opportunity to travel to Michigan to see her granddaughters for the first time. Her dream was to be able to move closer to them and share in their lives. She missed them terribly and she will be sorely missed. Cheryl is survived by her husband, Joe; son, Aaron; daughter, Samantha; granddaughters, Katarina and Maddyson; father, Edward Shepard Sr.; mother, Waltraut Stratton; sisters, Christina (John) Cassy, Cory (Rodney) Ringler, Cynthia (Victor) Kersey; brothers, Edward Shepard Jr., Wil (Heather) Shepard, and several nieces and nephews.
