Obituary: Ann Webb Mabey

Ann Webb Mabey Together Again Our loving mother and grandmother Ann Webb Mabey, 84, died April 6, 2006 at her home surrounded by her loving family. Born Feb 10, 1922 in Georgetown, Idaho to Wilford LeRoy and Birdie Mae Beckstead Webb. Married Daniel LaVar Mabey, Jan 13, 1942 in Los Angeles, CA. Marriage later solemnized in the Salt Lake Lake LDS Temple. Active in the LDS Church serving in the Primary and Young Women's. She and her husband had a successful farm known for their raspberries and apples. She enjoyed flowers, camping, Christmas and her greatest love was her family. She is one of the last survivors of the l937 School Bus/Train accident involving the death of 27 classmates from Jordan High School. Special thanks to Ann's neighbors, ward members and to Greg, Wyatt and Stephanie from Invision, also to Julie and Shylo from Good Shepherd Hospice. Survived by her son LaMar and Kathleen Mabey, daughter-in-law Bonnie, 11 grandchildren 10 great-grandchildren, brother Dean Webb and sister Faye Strong. Preceded in death by her husband, son Dwayne, parents, two brothers, three sisters. Funeral services will be held Monday at 11:00 a.m. at the Country Park 1st Ward 11250 So. 2700 W. Friends may call Sunday evening from 6-8 p.m. at the Broomhead Funeral Home 12600 So. 2200 W. and Monday one hour prior at the church. Interment in the So. Jordan Cemetery.
