Obituary: Mary Kathryn Young

Mary Kathryn Young 1920 ~ 2006 Mary Kathryn Young, age 85, passed away on April 5, 2006 in Salt Lake City, Utah. She was born on May 31, 1920 in Salt Lake City to Frank Crane and Lucille Nebeker. She attended East High School and married Darrell T. Young on March 7, 1942 in Salt Lake City. Mary Kathryn Young was a kind and loving mother and homemaker who enjoyed sewing and needlepoint and was active in church and a ladies club. She is survived by her daughter Roberta Anne, son Cary Darrell Young, Roseann Young daughter-in-law; two grandchildren, Mark Cary and Jeffrey Austin Young; one brother, Keith F. Crane; and several nephews. The family will receive friends on Monday, April 10, 2006 from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at Wasatch Lawn Mortuary, 3401 Highland Drive. Funeral Services will be held Tuesday, April 11 at the Holladay 18th Ward, 2625 E. Milo Way at 12:00 noon. There will also be a viewing one hour prior to the services and interment will follow at Wasatch Lawn Memorial Park.
