Franklin Lyman Stout, Jr. 1932 ~ 2006 Franklin Lyman Stout, Jr., beloved husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather went home to his Heavenly Father Friday, April 7, 2006 in Bullhead City, Arizona after a valiant battle with cancer. Frank was born May 19, 1932 in Cedar City, Utah. He graduated from the University Of Utah College Of Pharmacy before serving his country through the U.S. Army in Frankfurt, Germany. Married Jolene Catmull, later divorced. Married Joy Winter Fallentine and sealed in the Oakland Temple March 25, 1974. Frank loved Disneyland, was an avid Utah "Ute" and a St. Louis Cardinal fan. He was a devoted member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Frank served in many capacities for the church, including Bishop of the Bullhead City First Ward where he showed great love for the members. Frank and his wife Joy (his "vision of loveliness") also served as missionaries in the Johannesburg South Africa Mission and were assigned to Gabororne, Botswana. He would always say it was the best two years of his life. Even up until his last moments, Frank had a quick wit which his children, grandchildren, and friends all loved. He spent the last 18 years working for Smith's Pharmacy, where he loved his job, the people he worked with and his many customers. He is survived by his children, Ron Stout, Jeff Stout (Julie), Mike Stout (Becky), Ralph Fallentine (Ronalyn), Deanna Hilton (Andy), Scott Fallentine , Chris Fallentine (Krissy), and Brad Fallentine (Deborah). Grandchildren, Ben, Mindy, Eric, Jami, Emma, Matt, Cameron, Dan, Aaron, April, Kim Ashley, Kaitlyn, Taylor, Afton, Jared, Nathaniel, Jordan, Brendan, Chet Brooke, Brittany, C.J., Chad, Zachery, Emma, Melyssa, D.J., and Bradley. Great-grandchildren, Karlee, Kyra, Bella, Cheyanne, Destiny Rose, Mckyla Trevan and Rian. Also survived by Cuella Stout, Rose Winter and Kathy Kent; brothers, Mark and Allen; sisters, Mary Lou and Stephanie. Frank was preceded in death by his parents; brothers; sister; and son, Allen Fallentine. Viewing will be held Monday, April 10th at 12 noon followed by services at 1p.m. at the River Gardens Ward House located at 1690 River Gardens Dr., Bullhead City, Arizona. The family would like to thank all the people at the Huntsman Cancer Institute, who were so good to him. May their research help others to have a better life. We would also like to thank the people at the Candlewood Suites on North Temple, especially Jake for his kindness.
