Frank Richard (Dick) Lawrence "I hope there is a golf course where I am going" Frank Richard (Dick) Lawrence, 80, passed away April 6, 2006 in Murray, Utah. Born May 13, 1925 in Brigham City, Utah to Henry G. and Addie Christensen Lawrence. Dick and Billie had been married 32 years. Dick won a Gold Medal for golf in the Senior Olympics in St. George on October 24, 1991. He was very athletic and loved most sports. He fished a lot, but golf was his true love. He enjoyed hunting with family members and bowling. Dick volunteered at the South Jordan Senior Center; he loved the people and they loved him. He loved roses and flowers and had a green thumb. He also loved puzzles and crossword puzzles. Survived by wife, Billie, South Jordan; children from previous marriages, Patricia, Steven (Diane), Michael (Kathie), Bradford (Laraine), Debbie (Stephen) Smith, Daniel (Denese), and Tammy (Richard) Simpson; stepdaughters, Pamela Newton and Kimberly (Patrick) Wood; 25 grandkids and 19 great-grandkids. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, April 11, 2006, 12 noon at Goff Mortuary, 8090 So. State, where there will be a viewing Tuesday from 10-11:30 a.m. Interment, South Jordan City Cemetery.
