Allen Emerson Gleason 1919 ~ 2006 EL SOBRANTE, CA - Allen Emerson Gleason passed away March 28, 2006 of natural causes. He was born February 2, 1919 to Emerson W. and Mary Margaret Freeze Gleason in Idaho Falls, Idaho. He made a career in the U.S. Navy where he met his loving wife, Mable (Bunny) Lancaster. They were married for 38 Years. She preceded him in death in 1985. He spent his youth in Gilmore, Idaho, and Lark, Utah, where he graduated from Bingham High School. Following his graduation he joined the Navy and served in World War II. He was a survivor of Pearl Harbor. Following his retirement from the Navy, he spent the rest of his life in Berkley and El Sobrante, California. He is survived by his step-son, Walt (Nancy) Landcaster; grandson, Michael Lancaster; granddaughter, Holly DeCarli; brother, Jay L. Gleason (Oxnard, CA); four nephews, Arthur, Benny, Emerson and Greg Boyd. Preceded in death by his parents; wife; and sister, Alta Gleason Boyd (Benton). Graveside services will be held Friday, April 14, 1:00 p.m., at Park View Cemetery, 3661 E. French Camp Road, Manteca, CA.
