Obituary: Kathryn Louise Weakland

Kathryn Louise Weakland "Katie" Katie "Our little Troll", 83, passed away April 7, 2006 in Sandy, Utah. She was born October 29, 1922 to Jerome and Domenica Marchetti in Hooversville, Pennsylvania. She married George Walter Weakland May 11, 1940 and had two sons, Jimmy and Donnie. Her passions included crochet, puzzles, and playing rummy and solitaire. Survived by sons, Jimmy (Patty); and granddaughter, Susan (Dale) Olson; and almost great-grandson, Keyan Olson; and Donnie (Diane); and grandkids, Theresa, Pamela, Donald Jr. and Regina. Preceded in death by husband, George Weakland; and special friend, Eula Simpson. Special thanks to many nurses and friends at Sandy Regional Nursing home. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to Jenkins-Soffe Mortuary in Kathryn's name. Graveside services will be held Tuesday, April 11, 2006 at the Taylorsville City Cemetery (4500 So.
