Cecil M Stephenson 5/17/1923 ~ 4/8/2006 Cecil M Stephenson, age 82, passed away peacefully from congestive heart failure April 8, 2006 at the Millard County Care Center in Delta, Utah. He was born May 17, 1923 at McCornick, Millard County, Utah to Bruce Stevens and Harriet Mackelprang Stephenson. He graduated from LDS Seminary in 1940 and from Millard High School in 1941. At the close of World War II, he was drafted in the infantry for eight months being stationed at Fort Lewis, WA. Cecil will be remembered as being honest, hard working, and filled with integrity. His was kind, generous, and had a caring heart. He was an excellent farmer and well driller. Because of his willing nature, he gave up his well drilling to care for his parents in their aging years. Married Vesta Call; later divorced. Married Lee Keeton; later divorced. He is survived by a brother, Clair; and sisters, Winnie Stephan, Bonnie Larsen, and Barbara Hesterman. Preceded in death by parents; and brothers, Wendell, Howard, Scott, and Linford. The family extends its sincere and heartfelt gratitude to the nursing staff at the care center where he was loved and well cared for. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, April 11, 2006, 11 a.m. at the Holden Ward. A viewing will be before the service, at the church, from 10-10:45 a.m. Interment at Holden Cemetery under the direction of Nickle Mortuary.
