A municipal-court clerk has been arrested and charged with embezzling thousands of dollars from the city of West Wendover.

The Elko County Sheriff's Office said Sylvia Medina, 37, was arrested March 26 at her West Wendover, Nev., home on a warrant from the Elko Justice Court charging her with embezzlement. She was booked into the Elko County Jail and released on a $7,500 bond.
