Obituary: Bernie Gordon Ure

Bernie Gordon Ure 1953 ~ 2006 Bernie Gordon Ure, age 53, died suddenly April 9, 2006 of acute pancreatitis. Bernie was born April 1, 1953 in French Camp, California, the oldest child of Gordon Burnham and Sarah Alice Ure Hines. Bernie, his younger brother, Tom and sister, Cindy were later adopted and raised by their loving aunt and uncle, Willis and Minnie Ure. Bernie was a gifted musician. He loved music. He had a tender heart of gold. He served and loved people always and tried his best to make sure others were happy before himself. He was a member of the LDS Church and served a mission to the Netherlands. Bernie was loved by many. He has left a void in our hearts and he will sorely missed. Survived by his wife, Sue; his sons, Brian and Bernie II, and daughters, Amber and Heidi; his father, brother and sisters-in-law and many nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, April 12, 2006 at 1:00 p.m. at the North Salt Lake Stake Center, 261 East Center Street. Friends and family may call Tuesday evening from 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. at the Russon Brothers Bountiful Mortuary, 295 North Main and Wednesday from 11:30 a.m. - 12:30 p.m. at the church prior to services.
