Heber LaCelle Haymond 1914 ~ 2006 Heber LaCelle Haymond, beloved father, grandfather, and great- grandfather, neighbor and friend, passed away peacefully at his home April 8, 2006. He was born June 29, 1914 in Mapleton, Utah to Solon Earl and Mary Emma Marchbanks Haymond. He married LaRue Holt August 18, 1938 in the Salt Lake Temple. He was known as Heber to some and LaCelle to others. He worked 46 years for the Union Pacific Railroad as a brakeman and conductor. Dad was always happy, friendly and most neighborly. He loved gardening and would give generously to people up and down the street. He made friends of almost everyone he met and would share of his bounty with them. Dad was loved by the many who were benefactors of his generosity. LaCelle was an active member of the LDS Church and served in his callings faithfully. His most enjoyable calling was serving with his eternal companion for 14 years as Salt Lake Temple Workers. Dad was a loving and devoted husband for 63 years to his eternal companion who suffered with ill health. He cared for her for most of her final 20 years of life and was always by her side and attentive to her needs. He loved his children and grandchildren and was a good example to his posterity in making right choices throughout his life. He is survived by his children Stanley Tadd (Darlene) of Federal Way, Washington; Janet Shelton, Albuquerque, NM; Susan (Ralph Carlson) Mesa, AZ; Wayne LaCelle (Colleen), Mark Holt (Brenda), Debra LaRue (Jeff Hawkins); 26 grandchildren, 37 great-grand-children, and four great-great-grandchildren.
