Frank Muschik "Franz" Frank "Franz" Muschik, age 76, passed away April 8, 2006 in Salt Lake City, Utah. Born February 7, 1930, in Germany to Helene K. and Paul Muschik. He was the eighth child, fourth son. Married, Ruth Graham Finch, on April 3, 1976, in Elko, Nevada. She survives him. Frank left Germany in 1951 and worked his passage on a cargo ship, arriving in the United States in 1952. His proudest moment was becoming a U.S. citizen five years later. He was highly respected and recognized for his carpentry and specialized woodwork. He was a brick-stone mason by profession. Survived by his children, Lenora H. Skog and Gina M. (Shayne Hobbs); Kathleen G. (Dennis) Laloli; Michael E. (Leisa) Finch; and W. Hunter (Nori Huntsman) Finch; 12 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren; sisters Ursula (Ohio) and Hilde (Germany); and his dog, Katrina. Preceded in death by parents; three brothers and two sisters. A special thanks, to the staff of Salt Lake Regional Medical Center, Promise LTAC, Caresource, Dan Blackburn and the Ayons. Funeral services will be held Thursday April 13, 2006, 2:00 p.m. at the Garner Funeral Home, 1001 11th Avenue, Salt Lake City. Entombment: Salt Lake Mausoleum. Remembrances in Frank's name can be made to the Salt Lake Humane Society.
