Texas' Brad Wilkerson has struck out in 14 of 32 at-bats this season, including three straight times on Sunday, before breaking a sixth-inning tie with a two-run double in the Rangers' 5-3 win over Detroit.

TRIPLE THREAT

Cory Sullivan tied a major league record by hitting two triples during a seven-run fifth inning, helping Colorado rout San Diego 10-4 Sunday for a three-game Rockies' sweep.

SNAPPED

Milwaukee and Detroit both lost Sunday, becoming the last two teams lose this season. Arizona defeated Milwaukee 7-0, and Texas beat Detroit 5-3.

INJURED

Chipper Jones sprained his right ankle in the eighth inning. The Braves' third baseman charged Mike Matheny's roller with two outs, appearing to get his spikes caught in the soggy field. He grabbed his knee as soon as he went to the ground and rolled around in pain, staying down for several minutes before being helped off.

Cleveland won its fifth straight with a 3-2 victory over Minnesota on Sunday. The Indians (5-1) are off to their best start since going 11-1 in 2002. The Twins are 1-5 for the first time since starting 1-7 in 1994 and have lost six straight at Jacobs Field. ... Boston completed a three-game sweep of Baltimore with a 4-1 victory. The Red Sox, whose 5-1 start is their best since 1999, have won eight straight against the Orioles dating to September. ... New York swept a rain shortened series from Florida with a 3-2 win and moved to 4-1 for the first time since 1998. The Mets opened 0-5 last season.

MILESTONE

Roberto Hernandez earned his 325th save of his career, moving him past Troy Percival for sole possession of 10th place, in Pittsburgh's 5-3 win over Cincinnati on Sunday.
