LAS VEGAS — The Las Vegas 51s scored two runs in the bottom of the ninth to beat the Bees, 8-7, extending the Bees' losing streak to two. With the win Las Vegas tied its best start in franchise history at 5-0.

The bottom of the ninth opened with Greg Jones walking Andre Ethier followed by an Oscar Robles single and a walk of Chris Truby to load the bases. Wilson Valdez stepped to the plate with two outs and knocked in Ethier and Robles on a ground ball single to finish the 51s' come back.

The Bees scored six runs in the top of the sixth, highlighted by homers from Nick Gornault, Mike Napoli and Ryan Budde, tying a season high for runs in an inning.

Kevin Gregg pitched three scoreless innings to open the game for the Bees, but the bullpen didn't hold up. Erick Aybar and Kendrick each recorded a hit to extend their hitting streaks to five games, the only two Bees to record a hit in each game this season.
